My goal as a composer has always been to tell a story through music. This has taken many different forms from small trios, brass choirs, to full band and orchestra pieces currently in progress. No matter my medium I strive to transport both the audience and the ensemble into the world of my story whether it be soaring over mountain tops or remembering the ones close to us that we have lost.
English Roses
For Wind Ensemble

English Roses seeks to embody the intoxicating yet fragile beauty of a rose. The idea for this piece was formed after a visit to Queen Mary's rose garden in Regent's Park. This garden alone is home to over 12,000 individual rose plants with 85 different verities on display. This grand display of wealth and opulence can at times be overwhelming with beauty everywhere you turn your head. Being there was an incredible privilege, not only were the flowers beautiful, their aroma make the very air part if the experience. From citrus to fresh linen, to subtle perfume the garden nourished both the visual and olfactory senses sometimes to the point of excess. This piece seeks to capture all of that from the overwhelming to the intimate with an overarching theme of absolute beauty. Please enjoy the beginning of my latest work which marks my first original full wind ensemble piece.
La Fille aux Cheveux de Lin

This well know prelude by Debussy was reimagined from a piano solo work into a lively string quartet. The original text of the poem Debussy drew inspiration from, so inspired me to create this modern adaptation. I saw a different path this piece could take and explored it and this is the result, I hope you enjoy my arrangement of Debussy's La Fille aux de Lin for string quintet in G major.
A Song For Healing Divisions
Original Work for Flute, Clarinet, and Piano
This is my first work for a chamber ensemble, which features flute, clarinet, and piano. I dedicated this piece to the Tree of Life Community after the tragic loss of life in the senseless attack in 2018. I am not jewish and I did not lose anyone that I know but I felt compelled to create something beautiful and personal in the wake of such a tragedy. I hope it can bring solace to anyone that is mourning the loss of a loved one.
